Create campaigns with Ops Agent

Use the Marketing Agent to turn a goal into ready-to-use promotional content: it surfaces marketing opportunities from your menu, generates a Social Post, Email, or SMS for the items you feature, and you copy and paste it to publish on your own channels.

How campaigns work in Ding

A campaign in Ding is ready-to-use marketing content, not a formal brief you approve. The Marketing Agent, part of the Operations Agent in Ask Ding, surfaces opportunities from your menu and generates copy for a specific channel. You review it, adjust the featured items, then copy and paste it to post yourself. Nothing is sent or posted automatically.

  • The agent writes the content; you decide what actually gets posted.
  • Content is generated per channel: Social Post, Email, or SMS.
  • Each piece is built around the menu items you choose to feature.
  • Publishing means copy and paste to your own channels, so you stay in control.

Step 1: Start from a goal or an opportunity

The best campaigns start from a business outcome, not a blank promo. Open the Operations Agent from Ask Ding and either state what you want to move or pick from the Marketing Opportunities it surfaces.

  • Try: Build a weekend push around our high-margin pasta dishes.
  • Try: Help me fill Tuesday dinner without discounting the whole menu.
  • Try: Promote the new seasonal specials.
  • Or start from a suggestion in Marketing Opportunities that fits your goal.

Step 2: Choose a channel and the items to feature

Pick the format you want to publish, then choose which menu items the content should promote. The agent writes copy tuned to that channel and those dishes.

  • Choose a channel: Social Post, Email, or SMS.
  • Select the menu items to feature; the agent can pre-select suggestions for you.
  • Featuring your real items keeps the copy accurate and on-brand.

Step 3: Review the generated content

The agent returns finished, ready-to-use copy in a preview. Read it like an owner and make sure it sounds like your restaurant and features the right dishes before it goes anywhere.

  • Check that the tone and offer match your restaurant.
  • Confirm the featured items and any prices or details are correct.
  • Nothing is posted yet; this is a draft for you to use.
A generated Social Media Post: ready to use, copy and paste anywhere. Use Change items to swap the featured dishes.

Step 4: Adjust or regenerate

If the copy is close but not right, refine it in place instead of starting over. You can swap the featured items or generate a version for a different channel.

  • Use Change items to feature different dishes and regenerate the copy.
  • Generate the same campaign as a Social Post, Email, or SMS to cover more channels.
  • Regenerate until the tone and items are right for the moment.

Step 5: Copy, publish, and align the Waiter Agent

When the content is ready, publish it on your own channels and make sure the guest-facing side reflects it. If the campaign features specific dishes, the Waiter Agent should lead with them too.

  • Press Copy to Clipboard and paste the content into your social, email, or SMS tool.
  • Star the featured items as specials so the Waiter Agent leads with them.
  • Scan your QR and confirm the agent highlights the promoted dishes.
